Staff of the Parliamentary Service was today introduced to the new Speaker of the House of Assembly Hon. Jabulani Mabuza and his Deputy Hon. Madala Mhlanga. The two Honourable members are not new to Parliament as the Speaker is a former Minister for Agriculture who was also holding fort in the Ministry of Natural resources as Acting Minister. Hon. Mhlanga has retained his position as Deputy Speaker from the previous Parliament (11th).

In his remarks, the Hon. Speaker said that he will work towards ensuring that Parliament has a conducive and healthy working environment. He promised to use each chance he gets to share nuggets on financial freedom, especially the importance of investments and savings in order for the staff to be productive instead of stressing about debts. Hon. Mabuza then cautioned staff that he will never entertain gossip as it causes divisions adding that only constructive advice would be appreciated.
